We’re writing with the sad message that we are canceling our Christmas Eve service. The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning that extends to 7pm this evening, during which they are advising no travel except for emergencies. This is understandable when considering that road salt is not effective at temperatures of 15 degrees and below. So stay home, stay safe, and stay warm. Please prayerfully consider using your phone to reach out to somebody this evening to wish them a Merry Christmas and to bless them with your words of care and encouragement. Additionally, please consider reading the Luke 2 Christmas story this evening and give thanks to God for the good news of Immanuel, God with us.
